MEET DR. AJITH Z. CHERIAN
Dr. Ajith Z. Cherian is a board certified OB/GYN practicing in Lynchburg, VA. His optimistic, caring and positive approach immediately puts his patients at ease and it is very rare to find Dr. Cherian without a smile on his face.
Nature is one of Dr. Cherian’s sacred places and he enjoys gardening and exploring with his family. Dr. Cherian, a master gardener, finds the outdoors to be therapeutic. An astronomy minor in college, he can talk about space as well as medicine. Dr. Cherian stays busy at home with young twins, a toddler, a boxer, a cat, chickens and a rescue turtle!
A native of DC, he and his wife, Dr. Catherine Schuller, moved to Lynchburg to practice medicine together. They work well together as a team, even in the operating room. A teacher by nature, he currently lectures at Liberty University’s Medical School and was on the faculty at the University of Kentucky prior to moving back to Virginia.
